Ask any IT provider for their current accreditation list.
The length of the answer, and how quickly it arrives, tells you most of what you need to know. Here is ours, with what each one actually means and what we do not claim.

What we do not claim
A list of accreditations is only worth anything if the gaps are stated too.
Do you hold ISO 9001 or ISO 27001?
No. LANTEK Computers is on the journey to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certification and does not hold either today. We say so plainly, because a provider that blurs the difference between working toward a certification and holding one is showing you how it will describe your compliance position later.
Are you CREST accredited for penetration testing?
No. LANTEK does not claim CREST accreditation. Penetration testing and vulnerability scanning are delivered in house by a team led by a CISSP certified security specialist. CISSP is an independent certification requiring documented professional experience, a passed examination and ongoing maintenance.
Are you NIST certified?
No, and no such certification exists for a service provider. LANTEK structures its security services around the NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0, which is the internationally recognised yardstick for the reasonable measures POPIA requires. Any provider claiming to be NIST certified is describing something that cannot be held.
What about cloud platform certifications beyond Microsoft?
LANTEK holds Microsoft Solutions Partner status and does not claim accreditation with other hyperscale cloud providers. Where a client runs workloads on a platform we are not accredited for, we say so and work alongside a specialist rather than overstating our position.
A free dark web scan
and thirty minutes.
We scan for your company email addresses, passwords and customer data in the places stolen and leaked data gets traded, then spend thirty minutes walking you through what came back and what it actually means. No pressure, no jargon, no obligation. You keep the report either way.
Worried about what it takes to move?
Changing IT provider is the single biggest reason businesses stay somewhere they have outgrown. We plan the move around your working week, and we help carry the cost of getting across. Ask us how that works when we speak.
